Ed Lepre dedicated 32 years of his life to protecting and serving the people of Jefferson Parish and Harahan. As a member of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, he immersed himself in learning every aspect of law enforcement from patrol to SWAT.  As the second in command in Harahan, Ed led the reserve division and earned invaluable training certifications in many disciplines of law.
 

Ed opened his own business, International Drug Detection, where he continued to oversee investigatory projects. He was sought after by several Fortune 500 companies to manage drug and alcohol testing, employee background checks, policy writing, drug and alcohol supervisor training, K-9 narcotic drug detection, and K-9 bomb detection. Ed grew his business into a worldwide force, leading corporate security for mega companies like BP and Shell...
 

Ed is now a candidate for Chief of Police in the tranquil city of Harahan. And with a major crime-ridden metropolis at its front door, Ed has the experience and the strategic knowledge to keep Harahan safe. Already endorsed by major law enforcement, Ed Lepre is a smart choice to protect Harahan.

Ed is a 60-year-old Republican, married to Laura Dale Lepre for 38 years. Together, they have two children, Heather Lepre Prestenback (Michael) and Nathan Lewis Lepre (Michel). Laura and Ed are also proud grandparents to Addison, Michael, Ella and Maddux.
